MEPA Seismic Cable Bracing System
When increased suspension lengths or confined installation areas make rigid bracing systems impractical, MEPA Seismic Wire Rope Bracing Systems provide an efficient and cost-effective solution for the seismic restraint of non-structural elements.
The systems are available in four standard types (A, B, C, and D) based on wire rope diameter and can be configured with various adapters to meet project-specific requirements. Their modular design enables fast and easy installation in the field.
Designed to meet Türkiye's seismic requirements, the systems are tested in accordance with ASHRAE standards and are UL Certified and TÜV Approved, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with international quality and safety standards.



MEPA Seismic Brackets
Wire Rope Bracing Systems to structural elements, providing reliable seismic restraint for non-structural components.
The brackets can be installed on steel structures using bolts or on reinforced concrete structures using seismic-rated steel anchors. They are compatible with M8, M10, M12, and M16 metric fasteners, as well as 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8" imperial sizes. Depending on project requirements, the brackets can be installed at either end of the wire rope assembly.

Available in two standard types (A and B), the appropriate bracket is selected based on engineering calculations according to the seismic loads acting on the supported non-structural element.
Designed to meet Türkiye's seismic requirements, MEPA Seismic Steel Beam Brackets have been tested together with MEPA Seismic Wire Rope Bracing Systems in accordance with ASHRAE standards and are TÜV Certified, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with international quality and safety standards.
To achieve the specified load capacities, the brackets must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions, and the recommended bolt torque must be applied.



MEPA SEISMIC STEEL WIRE SLEEVE
MEPA Seismic Steel Wire Sleeves are used to secure the wire rope termination points in MEPA Seismic Cable Sets.
When installed using the appropriate Seismic Sleeve Swaging Tool and Cable Cutter with the correct swaging die, and in accordance with the specified installation instructions, the steel wire sleeves ensure that the cable assembly complies with TÜV and ASHRAE certification requirements and achieves its specified seismic load capacity.




SEISMIC SLEEVE SWAGING TOOL AND CABLE CUTTER
MEPA Seismic Sleeve Swaging Tools and Cable Cutters are designed for swaging MEPA Seismic Steel Wire Sleeves used in MEPA Seismic Cable Sets.
Easy to use and ergonomically designed, the tools are available in two standard types (A and B), selected according to the cable diameter. When used with the correct swaging die and in accordance with the specified installation instructions, they ensure that the cable assembly complies with TÜV and ASHRAE certification requirements and achieves its specified seismic load capacity.
MEPA Seismic Cable Cutters are lightweight and designed for overhead cutting applications. Their plastic-coated handles provide a secure and comfortable grip, ensuring ease of use in the field.
The cutters are specifically designed to cut all MEPA Seismic Cable Sets cleanly and accurately. Improper cutting methods may crush or deform the cable, making it difficult to install MEPA Seismic Steel Wire Sleeves. For this reason, the use of MEPA Seismic Cable Cutters is recommended to achieve clean, precise cuts and ensure proper installation of the cable assembly.




MEPA ROD STIFFENER
MEPA Rod Stiffener Locking Elements are designed to prevent the buckling of threaded rods caused by the vertical compressive forces generated by the rotational movement of suspended non-structural elements under seismic loading.
These components are used to secure L- and G-shaped rod stiffeners, ensuring that the reinforced threaded rod remains firmly in the required position through a bolt-and-screw locking mechanism.
For proper installation, a minimum of three MEPA Rod Stiffener Locking Elements must be used on each rod stiffener—positioned near the top and bottom ends (within 50 mm of each end) and one at the midpoint.





MEPA MS SEISMIC SNUBBER
MEPA MS Seismic Snubbers are designed to protect flexibly supported equipment against seismic and high wind forces that could cause excessive movement or displacement.
Selected through engineering calculations performed by our specialists, MEPA MS Seismic Snubbers are installed between the equipment base and the building structure in combination with MEPA Open Spring Isolators and/or MEPA Modular Vibration Isolation Pads, providing effective seismic restraint without compromising vibration isolation. MEPA MS Type A and Type C control both horizontal and vertical movement, while MEPA MS Type B is designed to restrain horizontal movement only.

MEPA MI Spring Isolator
MEPA MI Spring Seismic Isolators are designed for applications where low-frequency vibration isolation and seismic restraint are required simultaneously. Selected through engineering calculations performed by our specialists, they provide effective vibration isolation and lateral restraint without the need for additional seismic snubbers.
The isolators can be easily anchored to the supporting structure using bolts or seismic anchors. An integrated leveling bolt on the threaded rod allows precise height adjustment, ensuring quick and accurate equipment installation.

MEPA FS-K Free Standing Isolator
MEPA FS-K Free Standing Isolators are recommended for vibration control applications where equipment requires a suitable deflection value to isolate disturbing frequency vibrations. They are particularly suitable for installations where lateral seismic and wind loads are either not critical or are addressed with separate restraint measures.
MEPA FS-K Free Standing Isolators feature two base mounting points, allowing secure installation to the structure using bolts or anchor fasteners. This design also provides stability in elevated installations or when mounted on narrow steel beams, preventing the free spring assembly from dislodging.
To ensure reliable vibration isolation, the system combines spring-based low-frequency isolation with a neoprene friction pad located beneath the spring, providing additional damping for high-frequency vibrations. An integrated adjustment bolt on the top plate allows precise leveling of the supported equipment, ensuring accurate installation and alignment.



MEPA PH Pre-Stressed Spring Hanger
MEPA PH Pre-Stressed Spring Hangers are designed to isolate vibrations generated by suspended non-structural equipment, such as pumps, fans, and fluid flow systems, preventing the transmission of vibration to the supporting structure.
By applying approximately two-thirds of the design load through a pre-stressing plate, the hanger minimizes movement in isolated equipment and piping systems that experience significant differences between installation and operating loads. Under the equipment's vertical load, it achieves the required spring deflection determined by engineering calculations, providing effective vibration isolation across both low and high frequencies.
The slotted base design allows the threaded rod to move up to 30° without contacting the spring housing, reducing the effects of vibration while ensuring safe, stable, and reliable operation of suspended non-structural elements.



MEPA SH Spring Vibration Hanger
MEPA SH Spring Vibration Hangers are designed to isolate vibrations generated by suspended non-structural equipment, such as pumps, fans, and fluid flow systems, preventing the transmission of vibration to the supporting structure.
Operating under the equipment's vertical load, the hanger achieves the required spring deflection determined by engineering calculations, providing effective vibration isolation across both low and high frequencies.
